• Own complex features end-to-end, from ambiguous requirements through A/B experimentation to production rollout.
• Work on a large-scale Kotlin Android app utilizing Compose, Coroutines, Hilt, and the Navigation component.
• Elevate the quality bar for the entire team by advocating for testability, contributing to test infrastructure, and ensuring a robust development standard.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming, sharing the rationale behind architectural decisions.
• Proactively address technical debt, flaky builds, and legacy issues, prioritizing codebase health as much as new feature development.
• Champion UX quality and ensure only stable and polished interfaces are released.
• Fearlessly explore new technical domains, including JNI, Python, Bash, and reverse engineering.
• Drive improvements in our development processes, from AI-assisted coding to CI pipelines.

• A proven history of architecting and shipping production Android apps at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of Android internals, including lifecycle, framework behavior, and performance characteristics.
• Experience in designing modular, scalable codebases with clear architectural patterns.
• A testing mindset that extends beyond your own code, with experience in reviewing for testability, enhancing automation, or redefining team testing standards.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks, root cause analysis, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving quality standards through the review process.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations, scope work realistically, surface risks proactively, and avoid over-promising.

  • Polish Market: 22000 - 37000 Pln/month
